Kloosterboer Group lines up new container terminal

DUTCH stevedoring company the Kloosterboer Group, based at the Port of Vlissingen in the Netherlands, is set to start work on a new container terminal in May, when the first construction phase kicks off with the extension of land surface area by some7ha. Two more construction phases are due to follow at a later stage. "The investment in the first phase adds up to nearly EUR 12m," says the Kloosterboer Group's Gert-Jan Duyndam. "The terminal will provide us with sufficient possibilities to extend our car shipments to West Africa."
