Kahlouche-2 discovered gas in Southwest Algeria - First gas from Carboniferous

The Kahlouche-2 exploration well located in the Algerian Reggane North area has tested successfully for gas from the Lower Devonian and Carboniferous formation.After two positive exploration wells,Reggane-5 and Sali-1 earlier this year,RWE Dea and its partners have successfully drilled and tested the third exploration well Kahlouche-2 in a new isolated structure.
