Notes on Chrysomelidae (Coleoptera) in The Netherlands 9

The leaf beetle Chrysolina gypsophilae is recorded for The Netherlands for the first time.. It was collected at Otterlo (Gelderland) in 1958. There are no other Dutch records. In 2008. the rose flea beetle Luperomorpha xanthodera was found in The Netherlands for the first time. The species occurred in garden centers spread over the country. At Epen (Limburg) the rare Epitrix atropae was rediscovered in 2007 on deadly nightshade (Atropa belladonna). Three leaf beetle species have to be deleted from the Dutch list, as all available material appeared misidentified: Oulema erichsonii, Labidostomis humeralis and Psylliodes isatidis.
