A precious source of water availability has become scarce, hence the need for conservation. We are now increasingly becoming aware of the importance of water to our survival and its limited supply. India is well endowed nations in the world in the terms of average rainfall. Though India's average annual rainfall is 117 cm; in the deserts of western India it is as low as about 10 cm. Rainwater harvesting need to be implemented to avoid the paucity of water resources for present/future demands. Since the nature has showered enough potential to recharge our existing water bodies and also to conserve the water for future requirement. Hence, it is necessary to opt for rainwater harvesting measures for fulfillment of water requirement.
