摘要

The storage experiment was conducted in the laboratory to find out the effect of seed treatment chemicals on seed quality in pigeonpea cv, BRG-1. Seed treatment with chemicals differed significantly on seed quality parameters during storage. Among theseed treatments, combination of Thiram @ 3 g/kg of seed + Spinosad @ 0.04 ml/kg of seed which were stored in superbag recorded significantly higher pH of seed leachate (6,12), TDH (2.49), total soluble seed fffotein content (19.98%) and lowest (1.57 mS/ppt) EC of seed leachate recorded at the end of sixth months of storage period compared to control. Hence, pigeonpea seed treated with Tliiram @ 3 g/kg of seed+ Spinosad @ 0.04 ml/kg of seed and stored in supCT bag maintained biochemical seed quality parameters during storage period.
