摘要

The effects of P (0, 25, 50 or 75 kg/ha through diammonium phosphate), inoculation of vesicular arbuscular mycorrhiza (VAM), phosphate solubilizing bacteria (PSB), and VAM + PSB applied to wheat (v. PBW-343) on the performance of a wheat-rice (cv. PC-190) cropping sequence were studied in Jammu and Kashhmir, India, during the winter of 2001-02 and 2002-03. Plant height, number of tillers, dry matter accumulation, leaf area index, and concentrations of available N and P in wheat and rice significantly increased with the application of P up to 50 kg/ha; further increase in the P rate did not significantly enhance the aforementioned parameters. P at 50 kg/ha increased the grain yield of rice by 33 and 31% in 2001-02 and 2002-03, respectively. The inoculation of VAM singly or in combination with PSB improved plant height, number of tillers, dry matter accumulation and leaf area index in wheat. Among the biofertilizers, VAM + PSB resulted in the highest rice grain yield, increasing the value of this parameter by 4.94 and 5.35% over no inoculation in 2001-02 and 2002-03, respectively.
