摘要

In this investigation FYM was evolved as superior organic amendment than other organic manures such as rice straw, dhanicha green manure in both the systems. Addition of short duration oilseed crop in ricewheat system has shown in augmenting productivity of the system and maintaining good soil health. Crop diversity brings out yield, economic and energy stability because of their potential ability for compensation among crop components of the cropping system which is known as biological economical and energetical buffering in the system (I). In present day context for food self sufficiency high input-high output principle is more true now than ever before. The low input high output concept is merely a dream and would be fatal for food and nutritional security. All the major sources of plant nutrients with an integrated manner should be used in efficient and judicious way. Inclusion of dhanicha green manure, rice straw and farm yard manure with inorganic fertilizer could increase wheat yield in wheat based cropping system.
