Networking in the IET will build on current Institution strengths

As the Chairmen of the IIE Regions, Special Interest Groups (SIGs) and Young Member Services (YMS), we have been working closely together to develop a stronger and better integrated suite of networking services to serve the needs of all members. Our networking 'awayday' last October, drawing on a focus group of members, prospective members, non-members, lapsed members, employers and academics, and moderated by a team from Cranfield University, identified what an ideal institution should offer. The need for 'joined up thinking' between member networking services was identified as key.
