The Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS) is a battle management system that provides automated fire support in the Army Battle Command System. It is applied in the planning, coordination, and employment of all fire support assets (ground-, air-, and sea-based) in the execution of close support, counter-fire, interdiction, AAA suppression, and deep strike operations.
