Siemens bags contract to provide drive and automation systems to Hebei Iron & Steel in China

Siemens Ltd. China has bagged a contract to provide drive and automation systems for a new rolling mill for rails and heavy sections of Hebei Iron & Steel Group Co. Ltd. The mill will be built at Handan Iron & Steel Co., a subsidiary of Hebei, and will produce rolled products for infrastructural applications. The project volume amounts to more than 75 million renminbi, approximately 9 Million Euros.
