Skills issues should receive board level attention

Future skills shortages and leadership development needs in the energy sector should be treated as strategic boardroom issues,according to a new report:Skills needs in the energy industry from the Energy Institute(El).This was the main recommendation drawn from surveys conducted by the El in partnership with management consultancy Deloitte and executive recruitment organisation Norman Broadbent between 2005 and 2007.
