BRIDGING THE GAP between the nation's universities and the businesses that could benefit from their expertise and skills is one of the government's key priorities. There are few programmes that are more focused on getting the worlds of academia and commerce together than Knowledge Transfer Partnerships, or KTP. KTP aims to help businesses to improve competitiveness and productivity through the better use of the technology, expertise and skills that reside within the UK's academic community.
