摘要

All-solid-state rechargeable thin-film batterieswere fabricated with the cell structure of Li/Lipon/LiMn2O4using sequential thin-film deposition techniques. Room-temperature cycling of these cells shoed a nearly constantpotential of 4.0 V, good coulombic efficiency, and the capabilityof carrying high current density. Planar microbatteries wereconnected in series through metallization. High voltages ofapproximately 32V could be realized by serial connection of eight unit cells.
