摘要

A novel composite cathode for all-solid polymer electrolyte cells has been proposed to operate at lower temperatures. The cathode consists of LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.2)O_2, high conductivity polymer electrolyte, and a boroxine ring containing compound BP(n) = B_3O_3[O(CH)2CH_2O]_n(CH_3)]_3. The Li/polymer electrolyte/composite cathode cell could operate at a temperature as low as 40°C and at current density of 0.1 mA/cm~2, achieving cathode capacities of over 130 m Ah/g for LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.2)O_2.
