Sky-Futures bags Eni drone deal

Sky-Futures, which provides drone inspection services for the oil and gas industry, has scooped a global contract for facility inspection with Italian operator Eni. The contract is the first of its kind between a drone-based technology business and an international oil and gas company and represents “a significant shift in the oil and gas market”, Sky- Futures said, adding that Eni is one of the largest operators worldwide in the energy sector and operates in 66 countries, thus giving it a huge geographical area to cover.
