Zohr onstream this December

The huge Zohr gas field in the Eastern Mediterranean offshore Egypt will start production this December, according to operator Eni. The Zohr discovery, which was made in August 2015, is estimated to contain 5.5 Bn boe, accord- ing to field operator Eni. A December production start-up date would mean Zohr would come onstream just two years and three months after being discovered.
