The Saudi Arabian government has directed state-owned oil giant Saudi Aramco to develop the proposed US$10 billion refinery at the Jazan Economic City, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources AN Al-Naimi said.Aramco will also finance and construct the export-oriented refinery which will have the capacity to process between 250,000 and 400,000 b/d of crude. Its design is still subject to changes.
