Magaldi opens Australian business

In 2003 Magaldi secured two contracts for Australian power stations. Two Magaldi units wore installed at Delta's Wallerawang power station in central west New South Wales, and two units were installed at CS Energy's Callide 'B' power station in south eastern Queensland near Biloela. These contracts were completed using an Australian installation contractor. By 2006 Magaldi had decided that a full-time; Australian presence was necessary, in light of the high rate of inquiry and also in order to support the existing and future clients in terms of engineering advice and supply of spare parts. Peter Siers joined the Australian company, Magaldi Power Pty Ltd, in August, 2006 and has boon growing the company since that time.
