China's second-largest refiner, PetroChina, has accelerated its oil storage tank building programme, adding 1.5 million cubic meters or about 9.5 million barrels of products capacity in the first nine months of this year. Over the same period, the subsidiary of state -owned oil and gas giant CNPC has completed construction work on 24 fuel storage terminals. PetroChina has completed work on more than 400 service stations with 1.5 million tonnes of fuel retailing capacity as it seeks to strengthen its grip on the domestic fuel market and ensure supply security.
