Pemex inks latest cooperation deal with ExxonMobil

Mexico’s state-run Pemex signed a cooperation agreement on 1 October with ExxonMobil, the latest in a string of accords that highlight the industry’s interest in partnering with Pemex in the country’s first-ever licensing round next year. Pemex chief executive Emilio Lozoya and ExxonMobil chief executive Rex Tillerson said the two companies will look at joint upstream and downstream projects.
