Lift directive and notified bodies

摘要

Following the publication in the European Union Official Journal of the European Union, since 1999, in Italy, as in the rest of Europe, the Lift Directive 95/16/CE has become operative. As a consequence, many modifications have involved installers, building managers and of course notified bodies. In this short report we try to show our experiences as notified body and the result of our work from 1999 until now. Furthermore, in our op in ion we believe that the feature of a notified body has changed during the last two years and probably is going to change again in the near future. In fact, very frequently on the basis of our experience, many lift installers ask for a technical support in order to solve design problems deriving from the standards.
