UK government eases competition law to help boost CO2 production

The UK government says it has temporarily exempted parts of the country' s carbon dioxide (CO2) industry from competition law to help improve security of CO2 supplies to UK businesses. Companies operating in the UK' s CO2 industry will be granted a short exemption from the UK Competition Act for the purpose of sharing information and optimizing supply, the government says.
