Petrobras announced November 29 that it’s hiking refinerygate diesel prices in Brazil by 8% (effective immediately) and adopting a pricing policy that would align diesel prices in Brazil with world free-market diesel prices, aiming to end years of staggering losses caused by government pricecontrol pressures. “After due consideration by its board of directors, Petrobras has decided on the new diesel and gasoline pricing policy to be implemented from November 29, 2013.
