Vega Biofuels Completes Funding Package, Leases New Facility

Norcross, Ga.-based Vega Biofuels Inc. has completed an interim funding package to fund the design and engineering of its Georgia bio-coal manufacturing plant. The company recently entered into a lease on a 90,000-square-foot-facility in Cordele, Ga., adjacent to the Cordele Inland Port, which will provide access to the Port of Savannah, one of the country’s largest shipping ports.
