CF Takes Woodward Nitrogen Complex Off-Line to Repair Problem in Boiler

Woodward—CF Industries announced on 21 Apr. that its entire Woodward, Okla., nitrogen complex has been taken off-line due to a problem in one of the site's boilers. The complex has the capacity to produce 480,000 t/y of gross ammonia, 820,000 t/y of urea ammonium nitrate and 25,000 t/y of urea liquor. "All of the plants in the complex were safely shut down with no impact on personnel, the surrounding community or the environment," said CF.
