Withdrawn: MiR-132-3p promotes neuroinflammation and dopaminergic neurodegeneration by suppressing glutaredoxin expression

The above article, published online on 17 July 2021 in Wiley Online Library (wileyonlinelibrary.com) as an Accepted Article (https://doi. org/10.1111/jnc. 15477), has been withdrawn by agreement between the journal's Editors-in-Chief, Andrew J. Lawrence and Marco Prado, the International Society for Neurochemistry and John Wiley Sons Ltd. The withdrawal has been agreed as the Journal of Neurochemistry's Editorial Office were made aware that this article was essentially identical in design, outcome, measures, and structure, to several other published articles. Following the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines, the Journal of Neurochemistry's EiC board requested all original data and analyses from the corresponding author. Following further assessment by the Editorial Board and the journal's statistics adviser, there were concerns raised regarding implausible primer sequences, data analysis issues, and statistical issues. The authors were unable to satisfactorily address the concerns raised. As a result of these concerns, the Editors-in-Chief no longer have confidence in the results or conclusions drawn and have made the decision to withdraw the article.
