Steel major JSPL faces charges of selling captive coal to third parties

Ia a major blow to Jindal Steel and Power Ltd (JSPL), the Coal Ministry has set up a panel to probe the status of four mines allotted to the company in Chhattisgarh. This follows complaints received by the Government that the private sector steel and power producer is selling coal from these captive mines to third parties at higher price.
