Course of the product innovation process in a poultry plant

In the poultry plant studied, a fixed division of product innovation process into stages is applied skipping, however, the most important stages, i.e. identification of the future market needs, market testing of products, product commercialization planning. A team of 15 people participated in the innovation process, but only 27 percent of them were delegated to that team on a permanent basis. The efficiency of the innovation process in the company studied is limited, inter alia, by lack of market and technical information, ineffective motivation for participants in the innovation process and insufficient skills of its participants, as well as by a shortage of financial means allocated for innovations in the budget.
