Premier heads for Gabon bounty

Premier Oil and Sterling Energy will finally drill the first well in joint acreage off Gabon next year.Premier, which is drilling operator for the Themis Marin joint venture (although Sterling is operator of the block), has contracted the Global Santa Fe rig, Adriatic VI, to drill a well on the Themis production sharing contract in August 2007.
