Peru approval for Gran Tierra

Calgary-based Gran Tierra Energy has had its contract for the Exploration and Exploitation of Hydrocarbons covering Block 122 in Peru with PeruPetro ratified by Supreme Decree.With a 100% stake, Gran Tierra is operator of the block, which is located on the eastern flank of the Maranon Basin in northern Peru.
