Engineering specialist Wood Group said it has a strong order book and a good international spread of work which will stand it in good stead as the recession continues to bite. Announcing pre-tax profit of US $441m for 2008, up 39% from 2007, Wood Group said the current market provides opportunities as well as challenges.
