HHI bags $1.4 Bn Shwe deals

South Korea's Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) has landed a US $1.4 Bn deal for the construction of numerous facilities required for operator Daewoo International's Shwe project offshore Myanmar. The contract will be officially signed by relevant parties in mid-December upon approval from the Myanmar government. HHI said that it will serve the entire project on a turnkey basis, including engineering, procurement, construction and installation.
