StatoilHydro makes Vigdis E find

StatoilHydro has hit oil in an exploration well and a sidetrack north of the Vigdis East field in the North Sea. The Norwegian explorer believes recoverable resources are around 25m bbl after the well confirmed a 920ft (280m) oil column in rocks with good reservoir properties.
