Sinopec's mighty Cangxi gas find

China's state-owned Sinopec has discovered a gas field in the country's southwestern Sichuan province, according to domestic reports.The discovery lies in Cangxi county and is forecast to have reserves of up to 176.5 Tcf (5 Tcm), said a report in the China Oil News. However, some reserves estimates in China are optimistic to say the least and should be taken with a pinch of salt.
