A national numeracy challenge is being launched in 2013 with the aim of reducing the number of adults in the UK with low levels of numeracy by over 1 million in the next five years. The charity, National Numeracy, is currently piloting materials and wants to work with employers, colleges and outreach organisations to show how with support and encouragement people can improve their numeracy skills.
