Flatness modeling and control for a continuous tandem cold mill

摘要

A feedforward flatness control system installed on a continuous 5-stand cold reduction mill is described. Performance to within t8 I-units from target is standard for the coil body, better than till-units for the full coil and within +-11 I-units for steady-run conditions.
