Epcon recently designed and manufactured a one-of-a-kind system for the Web Processing industry, which included a Coil Coating application. The system featured a 50,000 SCFM Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) with comprehensive Heat Recovery to the large Prime and Finishing Ovens. The RTO not only cleans the process air from the Coil Coating lines but serves as a source of heat allowing the system to operate with minimal operation fuel. Equipped with an integrated Heat Exchanger, booster burner, and controls, the system regulates the hot air supply to the Ovens. The custom engineering for this project was recently awarded a patent and added to our esteemed list of industry patents for unique process heating applications.
