摘要

Basic hydrodynamic parameters and liquid-solid mass transfer coefficients in a trickle bed reactor operating at the so called slow mode of base-impulse periodic liquid feeding have been determined experimentally. The findings were correlated and compared with the available literature data. The enhancement coefficient, showing how much the value of liquid-solid mass transfer coefficient increases as a result of the changes in the strategy of the operation of a reactor, has been derived.
