摘要

The paper presents the method based on interval analysis for correlation of UNIQUAC equation parameters used in VLE calculation.The method applied always finds the global minimum and is independent of initial guess.The fitted parameters of UNIQUAC equation have been applied to predict VLE for several ternary and one quaternary mixtures.The obtained results have been compared with the results calculated on the base of literature parameters of UNIQUAC equation.The last ones have been obtained with traditional methods.It has turned out that for several mixtures encountered in organic technology the method based on interval analysis gives better fitted UNIQUAC parameters than those presented in literature.
