Shell and PetroChina will go ahead with plans to acquire Arrow Energy of Queensland following the recommendation by Arrow's Board to its shareholders.CS CSG (Australia) Pty. Ltd., the 50-50 joint venture of Shell and PetroChina, will pay A$4.70/share cash for all of the shares in Arrow, representing a total consideration of A$3.5-billion.
