Bowleven said the Sapele-1ST appraisal well in the Douala Basin tejjtad 3,101 b/d of oil equivalent within the Deep Omicron interval. The well was drilled to a total depth of 3,634 m in water depths of 25 m about 2 km southeast of the Deep Omicron oil discovery in the original Sapele-1 vertical well.
