Payments in war compensation from the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait in 1990 will help Kuwait record a budget surplus of 1.3 bil-lion-3.2 billion Kuwaiti dinars ($3.7 billion-$9.2 billion) in fiscal 2008/09, which ends in March, the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) said Wednesday. The final amount will depend on oil prices in the last quarter of the financial year.
