Gas Production Falls Sharply at Huge Field Offshore India

India's Reliance Industries has seen gas production from its biggest field fall by as much as 12% in the last four months. Output at the Dhirubhai-1 (D1) and Dhirubhai-3 (D3) fields in the giant deep- water Krishna-Godavari Basin KG-D6 field off India's eastern coast has dropped to 46 million-47 million cubic meters per day because wells are producing less gas than expected, said a senior official in the Directorate General of Hydrocarbons (DGH), the nation's upstream regulator.
