BG Eyes Singapore LNG Buyers

UK gas giant BG, the appointed buyer for Singapore’s first LNG import terminal, is seeking more customers for the LNG it will be bringing into the city-state, Singapore’s The Business Times reported Wednesday. BG has already signed six gas sales deals with Singapore generators, and BG’s Singapore general manager, Dan Werner, said it it has secured a refinery and petrochemical operator as its seventh customer. Werner added that BG is in talks with other potential pharmaceuticals and manufacturing buyers.
