Russian Output, Exports Grow

Russian crude and condensate output hit a new post-Soviet high of 10 million b/d (40.95 million metric tons) in September, 1.7% up on year-earlier levels, according to preliminary energy ministry data. Output in the first nine months of the year grew 0.95% to 9.87 million b/d. Production has been boosted by new fields. Rosneft's Vankor acreage in East Siberia, which started up in August, added 148,188 b/d to the state-controlled major's September output of 2.4 million b/d and was the main driver behind the company's year-on-year growth of 5%.
