True IPM for A Greener Environment - The theme of this year's successful FAOPMA conference and exhibition, held at the Zuri White Sands Resort in October. The hospitality and organisation set up by the hosts, the Indian Pest Control Association was second to none and no delegate could fear of leaving the event without being wined, dined and entertained with true Indian hospitality. Around this cornucopia of enjoyment the conference set a high standard and a clear theme: True IPM for a Greener Environment and despite the difficulties faced by some exhibitors, maybe less experienced in managing within the challenges of the Indian environment, the exhibition in a massive purpose constructed tent was a true innovation.
