There were plenty of innovations on display in the trailers at last month's CV Show, from roll-over protection and emergency braking systems to chassis designs revamped for the new 44-tonne gcw limit. David Wilcox even found some safer load fixings to rave about. Even fleet engineers who had no intention of purchasing trailers must have been sorely tempted to revise their plans after a visit to the CV Show. The quality, engineering and features of those on display at the NEC were better than ever before, yet still the prices continue to fall, especially in the mainstream curtain-sider business.
