In an earlier paper we showed that the introduction of sulphur-containing polymeric products based on byproducts of vinyl chloride and epichlorohydrin production into polyvinyl chloride plastisols increases the flame resistance of the material. The aim of the present paper is to investigate the structure and properties of polymeric products formed by the polycondensation of dichloropropane fraction(DCPF)and trichloropropane fraction(TCPF)of byproducts of epichlorohydrin production with sodium tetrasulphide.
