A new inorganic filler for general- and special-purpose rubbers

A fairly stable range of fillers has now been established for rubber compounds,but the search for new types of filler,including natural fillers,is continuing [1].This is indicated by investigations in the area of nanodispersed fillers [2-4],different types of silica fillers and their modifications [5],schungite [6-8],and fibre fillers of the chrysotile fibre type [9].
