The ecological level of polymeric materials, relating to their use as motor vehicle components, is as follows: 1. These materials should not have a significantly adverse effect on the environment and living things during processing (aspect 1). 2. The selection of materials for specific motor vehicle components should be made in such a way that, during their service, there is no deterioration in the ecological level of the motor vehicle (aspect 2). 3. At the end of service of the motor vehicle component, these materials should retain processability for the purpose of their reuse in the same or in another sector of industry, i.e. they should be recyclable (aspect 3).
